What does it mean to eat a book? Our fifth graders worked together on a project using Cookbooks, writing down their favorite recipes and finding out some of things you can learn by reading cookbooks. We asked around for favorite family meals and here are some of their answers: Broccoli Soup, Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tacos, Fettuccini with Chicken, Quesadillas, Steak.

Thank you in advance for your support!

#ThoughtfulThursday. More memories for our eighth graders! They helped our kindergarteners make lap blankets before Easter. The blankets will be donated to those in need. Time is going to fly by once our children return from spring break. We are so grateful for our kind and caring students. #MotherBrunnerKidsRBest

Today's theme is WORK TOGETHER WEDNESDAY.
When children build together, they experience teamwork and develop social and early literacy skills. So grab some materials and create!

Title 1 parents were treated to Game Night with their children. House of Bread provided dinner, and parents received a game to play with their children at home. We also have a few Mother Brunner Alumni with us to assist with the evening.

Our kindergarteners brought in a special friend from home to join them on their book walk in our cafeteria. Ms. Hill put together the book walk, which included our third graders reading to our Kindergarteners. A book walk is like a gallery walk, but for books!
